Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Great opportunity if you want to do more than the traditional SEC role. This is half reporting, half strategic accounting. This role has the exposure to leadership and an opportunity to have growth overtime into even broader finance roles!
What you’ll do:
50% Core SEC Reporting & 50% Technical Accounting and strategy
- Prepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K/earnings release), including the analysis and consolidation of reporting data.
- Build and explain key reporting schedules and disclosures (cash flow analysis, equity roll forward, earnings-release calculations).
- Research and apply new and existing FASB/SEC standards to keep reporting accurate, current, and compliant.
- Maintain and help implement internal accounting policies using strong technical accounting judgement.
- Partner with Finance teams globally to provide guidance on technical accounting questions and reporting matters.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on financial systems and support enhancements that improve reporting efficiency and controls.
- Mentor and support members of the accounting team, helping elevate quality, consistency, and development.
Work style: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 remote)
Growth: Rotation opportunity after ~2 years into other finance or accounting roles
What we’re looking for:
Minimum qualifications (required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years in Accounting/Finance (or 3+ years in public accounting; or 3+ years with a master’s degree or CPA).
Preferred skills:
- Strong analytical and communication skills with inquisitive mind and not afraid to challenge information as well as speaking with leadership.
- Takes initiative and plans ahead
- Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP with the ability to research and interpret accounting guidance.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and make a positive impact.
