The primary objective of this position is to perform advanced accounting functions related to preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports including the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for review by external auditors. This position is also responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial system, accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure timely and accurate reporting. This position will also provide professional and technical accounting work in support of the capital and operating budget preparations.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Three years of experience in governmental accounting or auditing. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
