About the Opportunity


A high-growth organization is seeking a Senior Accountant – SEC Reporting to join its corporate finance team. This role is central to delivering high-quality financial reporting and ensuring compliance with evolving SEC requirements.

What You’ll Do


SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting


  • Support the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K, earnings releases, etc.) using reporting tools (e.g., Workiva)
  • Assist in drafting GAAP and non-GAAP financial disclosures, including footnotes and MD&A
  • Maintain and update disclosure checklists to ensure compliance with SEC regulations
  • Research technical accounting issues and prepare supporting memos
  • Monitor regulatory updates and implement new reporting requirements
  • Support stock-based compensation accounting and EPS calculations


Collaboration & Process Management


  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, FP&A, Legal, HR) to gather required data
  • Coordinate review cycles with auditors, legal counsel, and executive leadership
  • Manage documentation and ensure audit-ready support for all filings
  • Assist with proxy-related disclosures and SOX


Audit, Controls & Special Projects


  • Prepare schedules for quarterly reviews and annual audits
  • Support SOX compliance and internal control testing
  • Contribute to process improvements across reporting and controls
  • Participate in special projects, including equity/compensation initiatives


What You’ll Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting or reporting experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and public company reporting requirements
  • CPA (preferred)
  • Public Accounting experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
