Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting, with primary ownership of balance sheet accounts and the month-end close process. This role supports operational and financial decision-making in a project- and asset-intensive industrial services environment and serves as a key liaison between accounting, operations, and finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, allocations, and reclassifications
• Ensure close timelines are met and continuously improve close efficiency and accuracy
• Monitor and reconcile inventory, WIP, prepaid expenses, accruals, and intercompany balances as applicable
• Maintain full ownership of assigned balance sheet accounts
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Support job costing, project accounting, and margin analysis typical of industrial services businesses

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in industrial services, construction, manufacturing, or asset-heavy environments
• Experience with multi-site/state/division accounting
• Experience with project accounting, or multi-entity structures
• NetSuite ERP system - preferred
• CPA - preferred
