Selling Supervisor- Lido Village

CAMI NYC
Newport Beach, CA

CAMI NYC is a New York–born luxury essentials brand celebrated for its signature silk camisoles and elevated ready-to-wear. Worn by tastemakers, entertainers, and the women who set the tone in their cities, CAMI NYC pieces have become a wardrobe staple from the front row to the dinner table. Our Lido Marina Village boutique brings that downtown energy to the Newport Beach coastline—a destination for the West Coast client who values quiet luxury, exceptional craftsmanship, and a deeply personal shopping experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Supervisor is a senior selling leader and brand ambassador at our Lido Marina Village location. This role is built for an established luxury sales professional with a strong existing client book and a sizable network across the Newport Beach, Orange County, and broader Southern California luxury market. You will drive top-line revenue through personalized clienteling, lead by example on the selling floor, support the Store Manager in daily operations, and serve as a culture-carrier for the team.

We are looking for someone who already knows the women who shop here—and who will be a magnet for new ones.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Clienteling

  • Deliver and exceed individual and store sales goals through proactive selling, clienteling, and conversion of new and returning clientele.
  • Activate and grow a personal client book; consistently outreach via text, email, and personal appointments to drive repeat business and pre-sells.
  • Host in-store appointments, private previews, and trunk-show style experiences for top clients.
  • Identify and cultivate new VIP relationships through community presence, local partnerships, and referrals from your existing network.
  • Maintain detailed client profiles in our CRM, capturing preferences, sizes, key dates, and purchase history.

Leadership & Floor Supervision

  • Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager; open and close the store, set the daily floor strategy, and coach the team in real time.
  • Lead by example on the selling floor—model the CAMI NYC client experience and elevate the team’s selling, clienteling, and styling standards.
  • Mentor Sales Associates on product knowledge, outreach cadence, and clienteling best practices.
  • Partner with the Store Manager on hiring, scheduling input, performance feedback, and team development.

Brand & Community

  • Serve as the face of CAMI NYC in the Newport Beach market—represent the brand at local events, charitable functions, and industry gatherings.
  • Build relationships with stylists, concierge teams, neighboring boutiques, and community partners to drive foot traffic and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and corporate marketing on in-store events, activations, and seasonal launches.

Operations & Visual

  • Support daily operational excellence: opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS accuracy, and adherence to loss-prevention standards.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards in partnership with the Store Manager and VM guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory management, replenishment, transfers, and cycle counts.
  • Ensure the boutique consistently reflects the elevated CAMI NYC aesthetic—polished, warm, and effortless.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years of luxury or contemporary retail sales experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or key-holder capacity.
  • An established, active client book and a sizable network within the Newport Beach / Orange County luxury market (this is essential).
  • A proven track record of driving personal sales volume and building long-term VIP relationships.
  • Strong selling instincts paired with genuine warmth—you make every client feel like the only client.
  • Excellent communication, follow-through, and digital clienteling skills (text, email, CRM).
  • Working knowledge of POS systems and retail operations; comfort with reporting and KPIs.
  • A polished, on-brand personal aesthetic and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and design.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and event nights.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive base salary plus commission and clienteling-driven incentives.
  • Generous employee discount and seasonal wardrobe allowance.
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits; paid time off; and 401(k) eligibility.
  • A creative, woman-led culture with clear paths for growth as we expand our retail footprint.
  • The opportunity to help shape one of the most exciting luxury openings in Newport Beach.
