The Shlenker School is seeking a warm, experienced Self-Contained 1st Grade Teacher who loves children and is passionate about early learning. Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of elementary teaching experience
- Strong background in phonics-based reading instruction and elementary math
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field and current Teaching Certificate
- Nurturing teaching style and strong classroom management skills
- Experience with small-group and differentiated instruction
- Collaborative, positive, and family-centered approach
Responsibilities
- Lead a self-contained 1st grade classroom
- Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction in reading, writing, and math
