Job Description

As a Segmentation Technician, you will be a highly proficient and quality-focused producer of Pre-Operative Plans. You will concentrate on individual production efforts to meet team and department production targets.

Responsibilities

• Create cases to be completed using a proprietary case management system.
• Review CT Scans for conformity to Surgical protocol.
• Segment CT Scans using specialized software to create 3D Anatomical Bone Models for use in Robotic Surgery.
• Create Pre-Operative Surgical Plans using the previously created Digital Bone Models for robotically assisted Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement.
• Review CT segmentations and Surgical Plans for accuracy of anatomical landmark selection, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Upload completed Pre-plans to field-based personnel.
• Document all activities according to prescribed methods and procedures.
• Follow work instructions exactly to deliver consistent output.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in biomedical, design, and/or CAD software.
• Strong computer skills, including Adobe, Photoshop, SolidWorks, and graphic design.
• Knowledge of anatomy is highly preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma required, Associate degree or higher preferred, ideally in a STEM-related field.
• Two years of work experience in fast-paced environments or computer-oriented roles.

Work Environment

This role involves working on cutting-edge technology in a quiet office atmosphere with a close-knit team. The position is business casual in dress and follows a second shift schedule from 3:30 pm to 12 am, Monday through Friday, with voluntary overtime up to 10 hours. During the holiday season, work is typically available on Saturdays, with Sundays offered at double time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portage, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Portage,MI.
