Seeking Certified Nursing Assistant to be an afternoon through overnight companion to a married couple in their mid 80's that live in their condo. They are bright and polite. Both have dementia. Both are ambulatory. They have a sweet 9-year-old dog who sleeps in a crate at night. In the afternoon, engage them in an activity such as listening to music. Take dog for a 10 minute walk in evening. Prepare a simple dinner. Clean up dishes and light housekeeping. Assist them with basic nighttime hygiene and routine such as teeth brushing. During the evening, be alert and ready to redirect them back to bed. If both Mom and Dad are asleep it is acceptable to read.
