Security Technician Trainee / Apprentice

We are looking for someone who may not have years of direct security experience yet, but does have the work ethic, attitude, and drive to learn.

What You’ll Do
- Work alongside experienced technicians in the field
- Help install and service security cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage wiring
- Assist with pulling wire, basic setup, testing, troubleshooting, and customer handoff
- Learn how to work safely, think through problems, and do the job right
- Build real skills in a trade that matters
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable, on time, and able to follow through
- Good attitude and ability to take direction
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
- Strong communication and professionalism with customers and team members
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that can be insured
- Ability to pass a background check
- Comfortable on ladders, in attics, crawl spaces, and working outdoors in Colorado conditions
Extra Credit, But Not Required
- Experience in construction, low-voltage, electrical, networking, maintenance, garage doors, AV, telecom, or related trades
- Familiarity with hand tools, drills, fish tape, ladder work, or basic wiring
- Interest in technology, systems, and troubleshooting
