As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence that helps to reduce incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication. You will greet guests, assist store teams, and document activities with attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, corridors, exterior entrances, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Control access at entrances and restricted areas by monitoring foot traffic, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors to the appropriate locations.
• Complete incident reports and shift logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal and site management, and support loss prevention and customer assistance needs as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
