As a Security Officer - Lot Perimeter Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with courteous service. You will complete routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, respond to calls for assistance, and document events using computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation support, initiating notifications, and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry points and interior activity, manage visitor flow, and assist with directions and wayfinding while supporting security-related policies for restricted and sensitive areas.
  • Complete detailed reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or responding emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
