As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points with clear, professional communication. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, and partner with site teams to keep operations moving. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor processing, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or tailgating.
  • Complete required security-related logs, incident reports, and shift turnovers with accurate details, and communicate noteworthy activity to supervisors and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
