Responsibilities
Performs a variety of administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties which support management personnel in the overall operation of a department or service area. Assignments are characterized by a high degree of knowledge and application of department policies, procedures and operation. Incumbent is expected to interpret and execute the duties and responsibilities of the job working closely with the Interpretation Services, Supervisor and Patient Relations Manager. Position is characterized by the ability to prioritize and organize multiple assignments.
Qualifications
One(1) year clerical/secretarial/customer serviceexperienceORpost-secondary education.Typing requirements vary by department, see requisitionordepartmentforrequirements.Level ofproficiencyin MS Office (Word,Exceland PowerPoint) varies by department, see requisitionordepartmentforrequirements.PREFERRED:
Prior health care experience.Two (2) years of college with emphasisinaccounting or business.Two (2) yearsofexperience in accounts payable orpurchasing.Demonstrated ability to set priorities and work independentlySuccessful completion of course in Medical Terminology (depending on amount of medical transcriptionrequiredfor assigned area).Bilingual – Spanish/English.Good communicationskills.Ability to follow detailed instructions.Work Hours:
