Cheyenne Mountain Resort opened in 1985 and sits on 25 acres of land. The 4-Star Full Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis. These allow for the unique experience that you can only get at this resort.

Hourly Rate: The starting rate for this position is $17.00.

Position Overview: The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for checking in all incoming product and guest packages. This person is also responsible for processing invoices and must be able to lift a moderate weight and must have good communication skills. The desired start date will be May 1, 2026.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Manage deliveries from shippers, receipt of goods and storage of items to ensure quality and efficiency

  • Maintain computerized records of items or services purchased, costs, and delivery

  • Process invoices against purchase orders or the Accounts Payable tracking file

  • Reconcile vendor statements

  • Make regular rounds around the property to deliver packages to various departments and pick up outgoing mail and shipping

  • Log/track all incoming packages (guest and internal); work directly with Events department when shipping and receiving items for in-house events

  • Communicate with guests regarding shipping/out-bound mailing information as needed

  • Regularly use a pallet jack to move/relocate pallets inside the Receiving area

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

  • Work with Purchasing Manager to complete additional tasks as required

  • High school diploma or GED certification and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency.
  • Must be available Sundays and Mondays.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to lift objects in the weight range of 10 - 50 lbs. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
    • Ability to stand during entire shift.
    • Ability to withstand temperature variations, both hot and cold.

    • Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet due dates and deadlines.
    • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic function.
