Seasonal Custodian- Parks

Summer Seasonal: April through September (variable hours; approximately 25 hours/week)
Assists with janitorial tasks at all City parks. This includes, but is not limited to, performing general cleaning and inspection of City park bathrooms and shelters. Tasks include cleaning bathroom sinks, toilets, fixtures, floors, and walls; also, any cleaning and sweeping needed for park shelters. Above are indicative of what a Seasonal Custodian may do on a daily basis. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Must be 18 years of age upon employment

• Possess a valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.

• Experience in janitorial maintenance is preferred.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Must be creative, enthusiastic, highly organized, motivated, dependable, patient and able to maintain discipline. Must be capable of following directions and have an ability to learn new skills. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to complete daily paperwork and work well with others from different cultures and backgrounds.

Wages:$18.00/hour
