This position will work in the concession stand at the Town of Highland Park Swimming Pool. This position will work the concession for regular season and special parties.

- Responsible for food preparation and concessions cashiering.
- Responsible for the supervision and enforcement of pool rules.
- Responsible for patron entrance, daily admission cashiering and party guest entrance.
- Responsible for assisting with pool parties, guest check-in and pavilion clean-up.
- Assist as a backup in the front desk as a cashier.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Food Handlers Certification will be coordinated by the Town upon hire.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Knowledge of customer service practices and techniques.
- Knowledge of money handling policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Town policies and procedures.
- Skill in effective oral and written communications.
- Skill in resolving customer complaints and concerns.
- Learns the operation and maintenance of the facility.
- Ability to work in a team environment and works well with others.
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification
- Must be a minimum of 15 years old.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and/or post-offer physical exam.

Equipment utilized includes personal computer, copier, calculator, fax machine, other standard office equipment, cash register, cleaning supplies, pool safety and rescue equipment, pool filters, pumps, vacuums, sweepers.
