About the Role – Bartender (Seasonal/Full Time)
The Seasonal Bartender position contributes to the hotel's commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork and must be the kind of person who appreciates high standards of excellence. Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations in Cove. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar and providing excellent service to the guest. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one's style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines. Previous experience strongly preferred.
Seasonal Pool Bartenders may be required to assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area to ensure the guest experience is exceptional. The frequency of these needs will depend on business demands and staffing levels. Responsibilities may include taking orders, serving food and bussing the pool area, restocking pool towels, picking up used pool towels and communicating needs to the housekeeping department, ensuring pool furniture is placed properly, etc.

This is a seasonal role with an expected start date in May and concludes in September 2026.
Wage Information:
The hourly rate for this position is $17.75/hr. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.
