Role Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled Screen Printer / Automatic Press Operator to join our in-house production team. You’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining our automatic press, ensuring top-tier print quality, and helping us scale production in our new warehouse.
This is a key role as we build out our production capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Operate automatic screen printing presses (Workhorse Sabre or similar preferred)
- Set up jobs, including screens, inks, registration, and test prints
- Maintain consistent print quality across runs
- Mix inks and match colors accurately
- Troubleshoot printing issues in real time
- Work closely with production and design teams to execute jobs correctly
- Maintain equipment and keep workstations clean and organized
- Assist with reclaiming screens and shop workflow as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of screen printing experience (automatic press preferred)
- Strong understanding of inks, curing, registration, and garment types
- Experience with high-quality or retail-level printing is a big plus
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Workhorse Sabre presses
- Knowledge of specialty inks (puff, discharge, water-based, etc.)
- Experience in premium apparel or fashion-oriented production
- Familiarity with reclaiming processes and darkroom workflows
