Job Title: Scraper Operator (Nights)
Job Description

As a scraper operator, you will be responsible for cutting to grade by driving across the top of the earth, scraping it up into the holding bowl for removal or relocation. The aim is to level the terrain for the Finish Dozer hands to fine grade to completion. This role requires you to work in the CUT and manage fills during the night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Operate scrapers to perform rough grading work on commercial construction sites.
  • Conduct pre-inspection and end-of-day inspection of machinery and report any concerns to management.
  • Manage fill and ensure even leveling of the terrain.
  • Operate MTS 3630 Wheeled or Track Scrapers, MTS 745 with pan, CAT 627, or CAT 637.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain awareness of surroundings.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of experience operating scrapers on a commercial job site involving mass grading.
  • Proficient in scraper operation, heavy equipment handling, and earthwork.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including 10-12+ hour days from Monday to Sunday.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.
  • Open to travel and flexible with shift timings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Paddle Wheel is an advantage, especially if skilled in finishing.
  • Bilingual or English-speaking candidates preferred for safety purposes.
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle is a plus for wider opportunities.

Maintain professional appearance and behavior in line with the Site Code of Conduct.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
