Description
The School Success Specialist plays a key role in supporting the end-to-end management of cosmetology school partnerships—from initial lead engagement and account setup to education delivery and ongoing relationship development. This sales and education hybrid position is responsible for ensuring school partners receive the resources, training, and operational support needed to successfully implement and grow extension education programs. Through effective communication, streamlined logistics, and high-quality service, this role directly contributes to school success, student readiness, and the long-term growth and loyalty of the brand within the cosmetology school channel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Host engaging virtual demos and webinars to promote sales and education programs.
- Represent the brand with confidence at school visits, trade shows, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing school partners to drive program adoption and satisfaction.
- Create, manage, and deliver compelling content for webinars, events, and school-specific initiatives.
- Execute lead generation strategies and manage partnership follow-ups and onboarding.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to coordinate account setup, contracts, payment terms, and internal hand-offs.
- Manage product orders, timelines, and shipping logistics for school events and programs.
- Use project management tools to schedule and track classes, events, and ongoing projects.
- Identify and upsell opportunities and promote additional education offerings to 25% of schools
- Monitor key usage metrics and maintain accurate records of partner activity and reporting.
- Coordinate travel logistics, event materials, pre/post class deliverables, and communication with school partners and educators.
- Support the planning and execution of both in-person and virtual educational events.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience working in or within Cosmetology Schools
- 2–3 years of experience in education partnerships, sales, event coordination, or account management
- Proven ability to present to large audiences virtually and in-person with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects, logistics, and timelines simultaneously
- Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship-building skills with an emphasis on customer service and long-term partner success
- Experience using project management and CRM tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with 25% travel
