We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as an Elementary and Middle School Language Arts and Elementary Math Teacher. This position offers the unique opportunity to work with small class sizes, providing specialized instruction tailored to meet the individual needs of our students.

Responsibilities
● Deliver engaging and effective instruction in Elementary and Middle School Language Arts, focusing on foundational literacy skills, reading comprehension, writing, and grammar.
● Teach Elementary Math, ensuring a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.
● Utilize knowledge of the Science of Reading to inform and enhance literacy instruction.
● Provide specialized instruction and support for students with learning differences, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and executive functions challenges.
● Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
● Assess student progress regularly, using data to inform instruction, and to provide constructive feedback to students.

Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
● Demonstrated experience working with elementary and middle school students.
● Proven ability to work effectively with students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.
● Strong understanding and application of the Science of Reading principles.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A Special Education Maryland license or General Education Maryland license is a plus, or be willing to obtain needed licensure credentials.

Starting salary is $51,400
