Job Description:

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the volumetric accuracy of scheduled product movements. The Scheduling Analyst role works closely with Schedulers and Accounting throughout the month and during month end close activities to ensure timely updating of SAP nominations, execution of manual accruals, correction of system or ticketing errors, or other clean-up required to ensure inventory is accurately reflected in SAP.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure volumetric accuracy of scheduled product movements
  • Monitor and verify all transactions related to product movements in SAP S/4HANA
  • Run and analyze inventory reports (builds/draws) on a routine basis
  • Review and resolve discrepancies in Discrepancy Error Workbench (DEW)
  • Collaborate with:
  • Schedulers 
  • Accounting teams
  • Traders 
  • Managed service providers (offshore teams)
  • Execute: 
  • SAP nomination updates
  • Manual accruals
  • Corrections of system/ticketing errors
  • Assist in troubleshooting inventory discrepancies and system issues
  • Prepare reports and summaries for management review
  • Track trends and recurring issues affecting inventory accuracy
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
  • Provide support during month-end close activities


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Oil & Gas industry experience (mandatory)
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • MS Excel
  • MS Word
  • Outlook 
  • Ability to handle and analyze large datasets (Excel & SAP)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA (financial & inventory reporting)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scheduler in Oil & Gas
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across departments
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
