Job Description

The Project Controls Analyst will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules, providing cost-loaded schedules, and generating ready-to-execute resource-loaded and logic-driven schedules. This position involves conducting schedule maintenance, collecting progress data, and developing and implementing project schedule/status reports to ensure consistent and accurate information is provided to the project team. Mentorship and training of less experienced Project Controls Analysts will also be a key part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Primavera project schedule and cost-related updates throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
• Interface with engineering, construction, planning, project management, and other transmission partners to verify updated Primavera schedule, resource, and cost information.
• Conduct and lead project schedule baseline review meetings with team members.
• Analyze project progress and make recommendations regarding forecasted costs.
• Maintain estimated costs in Primavera.
• Perform final project assessments to ensure compliance with PCG standards.
• Assist in developing metrics and measures for the TE&PS project portfolio.
• Participate in the development of project control standards and guidelines.
• Ensure planning, engineering, construction, and project management follow PLMP processes.
• Mentor and train less experienced Project Controls Analysts.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in scheduling, construction, and project controls.
• Strong analytical skills for scheduling analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or Business.
• Three to seven years of experience in scheduling or project controls in construction.
• Three to seven years of experience interfacing with engineering, construction, planning, and project management.
• Three to seven years of experience using scheduling software.

Work Environment

The work environment is a quiet engineering office setting with a business casual dress code. Teamwork is highly encouraged and is a frequent occurrence.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $35.10/hr.
