Overview

The Scheduler / Recruiter ensures that clients receive uninterrupted care by maintaining a full, efficient, and reliable caregiver schedule.  This person also leads caregiver recruitment and on-boarding to keep the agency staffed with qualified, compassionate professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily caregiver schedules, coverage changes, and time-off requests.
  • Recruit, screen, and onboard new caregivers.
  • Maintain accurate records in scheduling software and HR systems.
  • Communicate schedule changes promptly to clients and caregivers.
  • Monitor staffing ratios and track credential renewals.
  • Support the Operations Director/Owner with HR documentation and compliance reporting.
Reporting Structure

Reports to the Director of Operations/Owner.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years scheduling or recruiting in fast-paced office environment (preferably healthcare).
  • CNA or MA certification.
  • High-school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills.
  • Possess light secretarial skill and have a polite telephone manner.
  • Familiar with HR or scheduling software.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills and level of experience.
  • Capability with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Some college credits.
  • Experience with home-health or non-medical senior care or Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH) regulations.
  • Some experience with WellSky, Indeed, and internet recruiting sources.
