In this context, we are looking for a SAP Project Manager consultant to join Talan.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Project Manager to lead strategic SAP implementation, migration, and transformation initiatives. In this role, you will drive complex projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery excellence, alignment with business strategy, and the adoption of modern SAP principles, specifically focusing on Clean Core architecture and the Business Data Fabric strategy.

Key Responsibilities : 

• S/4HANA & RISE Program Leadership: Lead full-lifecycle SAP projects, including Greenfield implementations, Brownfield conversions, and cloud-based migrations under the RISE with SAP offering.
• Clean Core Governance: Ensure that all custom extensions and developments adhere to "Clean Core" principles by leveraging SAP BTP for side-by-side extensibility, minimizing technical debt for future upgrades.
• Data & Analytics Transformation: Oversee the deployment of the Business Data Fabric using SAP Datasphere and manage the modernization roadmap for legacy environments (SAP BW) migrating to the Cloud (BDC/Datasphere).
• SAP Activate Methodology: Rigorously implement SAP Activate phases, specifically leading Fit-to-Standard workshops to promote process standardization and best practice adherence.
• Project Governance: Define and manage project scope, roadmaps, deliverables, budgets, and timelines while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Stakeholder & Risk Management: Facilitate executive reporting and steering committee meetings while proactively mitigating project risks and dependencies.
• Change Management: Guide user adoption strategies and post-go-live stabilization to maximize business impact and ensure smooth digital transitions.

• Mentor and coach project team members, fostering a high-performance delivery culture.

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience managing large-scale SAP programs, including S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Analytics, or SAP Cloud solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering complex SAP implementations and migrations on time and within budget.
• Strong expertise in SAP Activate, ASAP, or other SAP project methodologies.
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, data migration strategies, and integration patterns.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills at both business and executive levels.
• Professional proficiency in English and French (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience managing SAP projects in multi-country / multi-entity environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SAP cloud migration strategies.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, data governance, and cybersecurity considerations in SAP landscapes.
