The SAP Program Director, manages the global Center-of-Excellence for SAP within the IT & Digital function of the company.


Key responsibilities of this mission critical role are leading and developing the SAP organization,

providing support for SAP products, delivery of the SAP project portfolio, and managing the

relationship with business stakeholders & external partners. This role also oversees functional

support in the SAP FI/CO area.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the globally distributed SAP organization (Business Analysis, Basis, Integration, GRC/Security, AMS). Run integrated, product-oriented delivery model to meet current and future business requirements.
  • Provide functional leadership and Business Analysis for SAP FI/CO modules.
  • Manage demand & supply and deliver the SAP project portfolio including requirements gathering, business case alignment, prioritization and execution.
  • Develop strong relationships and facilitate communication between IT (CoEs, Business Partners), external providers and business (BPOs, SMEs).
  • Oversee relationship and ensure performance of Application Managed Services (AMS) with focus on continuous improvement, cost efficiency and resource optimization.
  • Provide strong governance model for change requests. Discuss, evaluate, prioritize and deliver changes according to critical business requirements while maintaining standards.
  • Continue preparation activities and planning for migration to SAP S/4.
  • Maintain and operate stable, secure, high-available SAP application environment and facilitate regular patching and updates.
  • Leverage, adopt and improve ITIL based ITSM processes for incident, request and change MGMT, etc.
  • Manage support and escalations for SAP product portfolio (incl. satellite applications) and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Establish, monitor, and comply with Service Level Agreements and KPIs.
  • Manage the SAP CoE budget with focus on value creation and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with Procurement in licensing and contract negotiation.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to different stakeholder groups.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field required.
  • Minimum ten years of demonstrated knowledge and hands-on working experience with various SAP modules and functions from a business support perspective
  • Minimum five years’ demonstrated experience delivering multiple SAP implementations across various cycles in a heterogenous global Manufacturing company
  • Experience implementing SAP preferably in a multi-site global environment
  • Strong leadership skills with managing resources across geographies
  • Experience with SOX and SAP audit
  • Ability to adapt and succeed in a dynamically changing environment
  • Verifiable experience managing project resources and stakeholder management
  • Understanding of current SAP licensing models
  • Strong understanding of modern SAP application architectures and product portfolio
  • Open minded with background in data integration/data warehousing and ability to work on various technology stacks (not exclusive to SAP)
  • SAP Certified Application Associate and/or other SAP certifications are a plus
  • Current project management certification with experience managing SAP projects highly preferred
