SAP Inventory Coordinator - Fashion Brand NYC

Our client is seeking a SAP Inventory Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis in their New York office!

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with Project Managers (PMs) and Facility Managers (FMs) from the Engineering team to generate purchase orders in SAP.
• Responsibilities include creating purchase orders in accordance with company guidelines and ensuring timely goods receipt of orders limited to Engineering team.
• Creates purchase orders for all freight invoices related to the Engineering department and processes these invoices in accordance with established procedures.
• Collaborates with PMs and FMs to review invoices and submits them to Accounts Payable for payment processing through ESKER.
• Prepare reports in SAP to submit monthly accruals. This mandatory task is completed during the final week of each month.
• Collaborates with the Accounts Payable team and works alongside the Cost Control Manager and SAP Manager.
• This position offers a valuable short-term opportunity to gain experience in procurement, project management, and cross-functional teamwork within a global luxury brand.
• The ideal candidate will possess experience in SAP procurement and demonstrate strong attention to detail, as the primary responsibilities involve ensuring accuracy, precision, and compliance in financial records.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4 HANA is required.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Familiarity with ESKER and IVALUA is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• A degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in bookkeeping or indirect procurement is preferred.
