Shift: 4:00 PM-12:00 AM
Hourly Rate: $26.08 an hour + $0.40 shift differential
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will maintain plant sanitation standards to ensure the production of safe, high‑quality food products at the Humboldt, Tennessee manufacturing facility. You will support sanitation operations across the plant by cleaning and sanitizing equipment, managing waste removal, and handling sanitation chemicals while working collaboratively as part of a six‑person sanitation team on second shift.A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Ensure all equipment and utensils used in the manufacture of product are returned to sanitary conditions at the end of each production run, with responsibilities varying by production line.
- Pump chemical, rinse, and sanitizer through all lines operated during the shift.
- Calculate appropriate chemical concentrations for each sanitation application.
- Operate floor scrubbers to maintain clean and sanitary production areas.
- Inspect coolers and freezers for debris and spills and clean as needed.
- Empty laboratory waste and trash while ensuring waste containers remain in sanitary condition.
- Transport chemicals from the chemical cage to points of use.
- Complete chemical inventory counts on the first and last day of the work week.
- Empty and rinse all trash hoppers, waste drums, and totes.
- Clean the compactor area at least once per week.
- Clean the chemical cage at least once per week.
- Remove all waste from the filler area.
- Remove labels from all waste and reclaim drums.
- Clean debris from drain baskets once per week.
- Clean and fill all foot cleaning stations daily.
- Place sanitation steps at ramps or ensure foamer fill daily.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or proof of GED.
- Forklift certification.
- Communication skills in English as required for job duties and safety regulations.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing or sanitation environment preferred.

- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.

- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
