As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals using both configuration and development

  • Leverage solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging skills in Salesforce CRM platform.

  • Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development

  • Leverage strong experience with Salesforce and hands on -

  • Apex programming language, Solid understanding of building Salesforce Lightning UI, LWC, Solid understanding of Salesforce Lightning Connect to call external API, Development of REST API's

  • Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture

  • Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

  • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Strong experience with Salesforce and hands on experience with the Apex programming language, building Salesforce Lightning UI, Salesforce Lightning Connect to call external API, and development of REST APIs
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Overall knowledge of Salesforce Cloud
  • Extensive Software Engineering work experience in an Agile / SDLC environment and solid software design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging skills in the Salesforce CRM platform
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

  • Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
