Job Role: Senior Salesforce Developer (Lightning Components | Commerce Cloud)
Location: Minneapolis, MN - Need locals only
Eligibility: USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD only
Pay Rate: $60-$68/hr. on C2C
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with strong experience in Lightning components to support the development of a brand-new e-commerce parts store. The platform will allow customers to easily browse and purchase parts online (e.g., a customer purchasing a replacement door directly from the website). This role is ideal for a self-driven, ambitious developer who can independently pick up user stories, learn quickly, and deliver high-quality solutions.
The team provides guidance and learning resources, but expects the developer to take initiative, troubleshoot independently, and actively collaborate with leads when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Apex, and SOQL.
- Build and enhance features for a new e-commerce platform focused on parts ordering and brand development.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Lead Developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Pick up assigned user stories and drive development independently with minimal supervision.
- Participate in code reviews and follow Salesforce development best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, proactively seeking guidance when necessary.
- Contribute to improving development standards, performance, and scalability.
- Work in an agile environment and deliver high-quality releases on time.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of Salesforce development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Aura Components
- Apex
- SOQL
- Experience building custom UI components in Salesforce Lightning
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and development best practices
- Ability to independently pick up tasks and deliver solutions with minimal guidance
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C or B2B)
- Experience developing or supporting e-commerce platforms
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of Git or version control tools
