Key Responsibilities for the Sales and Use Tax Analyst:
- Prepare sales and use tax returns and payment requests timely and accurately
- Timely file all assigned returns
- Prepare monthly use tax accruals and other month end journal entries
- Prepare monthly tax account reconciliations
- Other functions and projects assigned
Preferred background for the Sales & Use Tax Analyst:
- A four-year degree (Accounting, preferred)
- Demonstrated analytical and computer skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required
- Strong account reconciliation skills are necessary
- A minimum of 1 year of sales and use tax and/or accounting experience preferred but willing to train a recent college graduate who has a strong desire to learn
