The Field Effectiveness Team is looking for a strong leader to develop and manage the Merchant Services Sales Effectiveness Training Program. This role will build the curriculum, design the experience, and manage the delivery of effectiveness training to Small Business Sales, Commercial and Corporate Sales, and Account Management teams.
Job Summary
The Leader of Merchant Services Sales Effectiveness Training Program will own the strategy, approach, and frameworks utilized for sales talent training and sales effectiveness learning and development.
This role will oversee the curriculum and learning experience design of training programs delivered to Merchant Services sales and account management teams in partnership with enterprise Learning and Development.. The program will leverage best practices, latest technology and channel delivery tools, to develop and deliver high quality learning content through high impact learning experiences. In addition, this leader will set training effectiveness KPI’s and develop an ongoing feedback loop with end users to ensure continuous improvements.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Apply learning models, benchmark best practices/trends, and maintain knowledge of cutting-edge approaches to provide learning solutions designed to improve Merchant Services front-end team knowledge and improve sales effectiveness.
- Conduct comprehensive needs analyses on a regular basis, recognize emerging patterns, and make recommendations to strengthen proven areas of success and address gaps and/or potential opportunities.
- Partner with Small Business and Commercial and Corporate business leaders and Learning and Development partners to develop learning strategies and experiences for various learning styles, to meet people where they are and bring them forward on their journey.
- Create a foundational curriculum for managers and non-supervisors looking for professional development, while ensuring that our company’s core values are integrated in all learning programs.
- Design materials and supplement with additional support tools such as podcasts, eLearning, in-person seminars and various experiential assignments to reinforce learning and promote further development.
- Lead the development and hands-on execution of instructor-led, web based, and blended delivery training.
- Use metrics to track the effectiveness of learning programs develop an ongoing feedback loop with end users to ensure continuous improvements. Develop appropriate data-gathering methodologies, such as focus groups, interviews, survey design, and analysis and 360-degree feedback to design OD initiatives
- Project manage end-to-end design and integration of various programs (i.e., performance reviews, talent calibrations, succession planning, and leadership development programs)
- Operationalize & scale efforts to define systems requirements and implementation of a global learning management program
- Deep understanding of employee population and needs in order to design programs across all locations, employee levels, and job roles, allowing for flexibility to enhance and improve initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
Other Desired Qualifications - Project manager and organizer who can handle several complex projects and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to analyze data in order to identify and develop best-in-class training recommendations
- Expertise in training and adult learning methodologies and best practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in training development strategy, approach, curriculum and frameworks.
- Strong track record of creating and delivering training program curricula that address upskilling and engage learners in-person, virtually, and blended delivery.
- Experience assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of instructional materials.
- Demonstrated success creating and managing accessible, relevant content for users.
- Experience working closely with leaders, including identifying needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and presenting results and recommendations.
- Proven experience in the ideation, design and delivery of impactful and engaging adult learning methodologies and development programs
- Ability to be a trusted, consultative partner and trainer across all levels of an organization
- Proficient track-record of positive influence of department culture during change through trust-building.

Salary InformationThe salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
