Directly reporting to the Executive Vice President ORBS* and a member of the Division Management Committee, and in global automotive coordination for ORBS with the other teams (EMEA, Asia, NAFTA, Mercosur), you lead the local sales team based in Germany (market managers, sales representatives, etc.), including Marketing / Pricing, across Germany and Eastern Europe.

ORBS has historically been positioned in global markets for technical products, manufactured in large series and mainly intended for the Automotive industry.

Your main responsibilities

In this role, your main responsibilities are as follows:


• Propose and implement the commercial and marketing strategy for your area and contribute to the development of the global strategy,
• Establish and maintain relationships of trust, mutually beneficial, with current and potential customers,
• Develop revenue while ensuring the sustainability of the Division and your Operating Result,
• Develop your knowledge of markets, competitors, and customer needs as early as possible (products, services, etc.) in order to contribute to ORBS’ Strategic Plan,
• Coordinate commercial policies, particularly pricing, at an international level, notably with teams not hierarchically reporting to you,
• Manage your teams in line with best management standards: high expectations and dynamism, support, delegation, coordination, interfaces with other departments, notably COSTING and Logistics,
• Comply with and continuously improve internal processes,
• Establish reporting for your scope.

Your profile

You hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and have at least 10 years of experience in managing sales teams.
You have proven expertise in the Automotive and/or Industrial markets, serving Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier customers.
You demonstrate strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills in a demanding environment requiring responsiveness and agility.
You have solid leadership skills, experience in cross-functional management, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Fluent in German and English; French is a strong advantage.
