Redwood Outdoors is an exciting e-commerce company specializing in premium Outdoor Saunas and Cold Plunge Tubs. We are looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at our brand-new showroom in Santa Monica, CA. This role focuses on in-person customer service, handling walk-in traffic, appointments, and providing top-notch support via phone and video calls. What You'll Do in the Role:
- Showroom Sales: Act as the primary in-person expert for customers visiting our showroom, offering personalized assistance in selecting the right sauna or cold plunge to meet their needs. You will create an engaging and informative experience that reflects our luxury brand.
- Appointment Management: Handle scheduled appointments, both in-person and virtually, using phone and video calls to provide exceptional service and guidance on product options. Tailor recommendations based on customer preferences and provide live product demos.
- Lead Follow-up: Re‑engage inactive leads through outbound phone follow‑ups to support online and retail sales initiatives.
- Customer Engagement: Respond to walk-in inquiries and proactively engage with visitors to make them feel welcome and informed. Offer a seamless experience that builds trust and encourages purchase decisions.
- Retail Operations Support: Manage essential retail tasks, such as maintaining product displays, ensuring the showroom is organized, and assisting with inventory as necessary to support a smooth showroom operation.
- Product Knowledge and Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of Redwood Outdoors’ luxury outdoor products to confidently address customer questions, guide them through product benefits, and support their buying journey.
- Customer Satisfaction: Strive to exceed customer expectations in every interaction by delivering high standards of service that enhance the Redwood Outdoors experience. Provide post-sale support as needed to ensure long-term satisfaction.
What You'll Need for the Role:
- Proven experience with face-to-face retail sales, preferably in luxury, sporting or wellness products
- Strong understanding of retail business operations, including opening and closing
- GED or High School Diploma
- Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build long-lasting relationships with customers
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with learning and using software applications required for the role
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
- Willing to canvas and deliver marketing materials to surrounding areas
- Occasional travel to local event locations may be required
- Tradeshow experience preferred
- This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the sales floor for extended periods of time; and lift or transport materials weighing up to 40 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation:
As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into this position. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s).
