Safety Coordinator

About the Role

Mid-West Textile is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support workplace safety, OSHA compliance, employee training, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives across our operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and near misses.
• Deliver new hire and ongoing safety training.
• Maintain safety records and compliance documentation.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and company safety policies.
• Track safety metrics and corrective actions.
• Support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, recycling, or industrial environments preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
