The Opportunity
The Regional Vice President of Commercial Americas is a senior commercial leader with direct oversight of topline sales performance across a portfolio of full‑service and select‑service Tier II hotels—both managed and franchise—supporting the Vice President, Commercial Services, Managed, Franchise & Lifestyle Leaders. This role provides strategic direction and operational leadership for all sales and marketing functions, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities while driving sustained revenue growth.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Commercial Services, Americas, the RVP is responsible for shaping sales and marketing budgets, directing business planning and performance forecasts, managing escalations, and establishing goal‑setting frameworks that accelerate market share gains, in addition to leading Commercial Services input on proformas and market intelligence for new developments and renewals.
This leader plays a critical role in energizing and inspiring hotel teams, fostering a culture of high performance, and guiding communication, training, and development to ensure consistent execution of effective commercial strategies.
The role also contributes to talent development across the region, including involvement in hiring decisions and supporting performance management and accountability. Success in this position requires bold thinking, strong business acumen, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to design and implement protocols and processes that fuel innovation and meaningful change.

Experience Required:
. 12+ years of progressive experience in sales, revenue, marketing, or commercial strategy within the hospitality industry
. 10+ years in multi‑unit or regional leadership, overseeing portfolios of full‑service and lifestyle or select‑service hotels
. Proven success leading both managed and franchise hotel environments. Strong knowledge and understanding of the pre-opening experience and ramp process.
. Demonstrated experience in setting and managing sales budgets, forecasting, and business planning
. Strong track record of driving market share growth, revenue performance, marketing and sales team effectiveness
. Experience managing hotel escalations, navigating complex operational or owner‑related issues
. Prior responsibility for influencing or supporting talent development, hiring decisions, and performance management
•High proficiency in all Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Hyatt (or comparable) CRM, event management, and RFP systems
Ability to travel, primarily domestically, throughout assigned territory/region – approximately 60%
Experience Preferred:
Experience in Hyatt’s full‑service or luxury portfolio—or equivalent experience with other full‑service or luxury hotel brands—is strongly preferred.

The salary range for this position is $185,000 to $245,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, an annual bonus, monthly or quarterly incentives, etc.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
