About This Group
Our business is building a team dedicated to Components for Repair and Overhaul in Fort Worth, Texas. This position is for our Paint Shop and must have working knowledge of paint processes and products. Work is done in a climate controlled environmental setting and is primarily Weekend shift, but applicant needs to be flexible to work a different shift based on the business needs.
About This Role
Our Painters must have the ability to or a working knowledge of Preparation, Application, Color Blending, ect.. A technical knowledge of various painting methods and techniques, understanding the properties of different types of paint, and knowing how to mix them to get the desired colors and effects. With a strong attention to detail to ensure a high-quality finish, precision in masking, and adherence to complex paint schemes.
Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years in related paint processes. Aircraft industry experience preferred.. Valid Drivers License required.. Position Purpose:The Aircraft Painter II works under minimum supervision to safely prepare, paint and detail aircraft according to schedule using company quality standards and operating procedures.Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
