About the Role – Rooms Assistant Manager

The responsibilities include assisting in overseeing any area in the Rooms Division. This can include the front office staff, guest services, housekeeping/laundry, and reservations. Duties may also include training, staff development and scheduling.The salary range for this position is $61,800 - 86,600. This is the pay range for this position that Park Hyatt Aviara reasonably expects to pay. Qualifications - External

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of one year previous front office supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Holidays and weekends
  • Assist Front Office Manager in all administrative tasks as assigned
  • Answer phones, greet customers, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and make reservations
  • Confirm staff schedules, assist with payroll procedures, and accurately perform data-entry tasks
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues and represent our hotel brand in a professional manner

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous experiences in a luxury resort preferred

· Must possess a professional presentation

· Outstanding guest services skills, sophisticated verbal & written communication skills

· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

· Highly responsible and reliable

· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
