🌙 Why This Role Matters
At Armour Lumber Mill, uptime isn’t optional. Our rolling stock mobile equipment mechanics play a critical role in keeping operations safe, reliable, and moving. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy mobile equipment that supports daily mill operations.

What You’ll Do
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on rolling stock and mobile equipment
(e.g., forklifts, loaders, skid steers, utility vehicles, yard equipment)
Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel engine systems
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
Troubleshoot breakdowns and minimize operational downtime
Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize repairs
🎯 What We’re Looking For
3+ years of industrial or heavy equipment mechanical experience
Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair priorities
Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and respond to breakdowns as needed
