Job Description

As a Robotics Technician, you will utilize your expertise with FANUC Robots to directly support controls engineers. This role requires you to apply your knowledge in robotic maintenance and experience in a weld shop to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform robotic maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
• Assist in the programming and operation of FANUC robots.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal robot performance.
• Collaborate with controls engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Follow OSHA guidelines while performing maintenance on machinery.
• Maintain accuracy and completion of all documentation.
• Establish and maintain relationships with employees and vendors.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of two to three years’ experience in a relevant trade.
• Robotic maintenance experience.
• Experience in a weld shop.
• Proficiency in automation, robotics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make informed decisions regarding equipment safety.
• Experience in maintaining professional relationships.

Work Environment

The role is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility with a focus on robotic welding. The position requires working night shifts from 6 pm to 6 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Garland,TX.
