Job Description

We are seeking a technically skilled professional to support and enhance our plant’s automation systems. This role involves working with robotics, PLCs, and various control systems to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and program robotic systems and automation interfaces.
  • Upgrade system operations to improve part quality and increase productivity.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and program ladder logic and control sequences.
  • Provide technical assistance when in-house skilled trades require support.
  • Support production teams with equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electronic and automation systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to resolve process and quality issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all control systems, including ladder logic and electrical schematics.
  • Install and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and process computers.
  • Design and build electronic monitoring systems.
  • Troubleshoot servo control systems and perform necessary repairs.
  • Assist with hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and mechanical systems as needed.
  • Conduct software backups for PLCs and robotics.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and enhance system reliability.
  • Promote quality standards, environmental policies, and 5-S practices.
  • Support plant safety rules and adhere to company policies.
  • Participate in new equipment installations and system upgrades for process optimization.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in electrical schematic design and interpretation.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic systems, Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, and electrical PLC programming.
  • Strong troubleshooting and installation skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Baltimore, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $88000.00/yr.
