Roads Maintenance Technician GC

Overview

This positionis responsible forAsphalt Repair, Seal Coat, Striping and RPM Replacement, Concrete Repair, Bridge Maintenance, Herbicide Spraying, Running Heavy Equipment. Knowledge of Traffic Control Plans.

The Roads Crew also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group. He or she performs all responsibilities whiledemonstratingoutstanding customer serviceskillsrepresentative of Castle RoyalService as itrelates to this function. This includes working interdepartmentally, as wellas,with our external customers.

Responsibilities

• (May include some orall ofthe following as applicable)

• Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limitedto:road maintenance, sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.

• Maintains all cleaning solutions in accordancetoOSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.

• Removestrash from premises andassistsin emergency cleaning.

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and assigned equipment in good workingcondition.

• Minor painting of walls,doorwaysand curbs.

• Pressure wash walkways,buildingsand other property using power washing equipment.

• Ensuresthat security procedures areadhered to at all times.

• Maintains professional workingrelationshipwith building staff.

• Completes daily work orders as scheduled.

• Ensuresall safety precautions and procedures are followed while performing dutiesin accordance withOSHA.

• Any other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Education and Experience

Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:

High school diploma orequivalencypreferred.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

Previouscustodial experience preferred. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to properlyutilizenew equipment and follow safety procedures.

Computer literacy:

Basic command of computer hardware/software isrequired.

Language requirements:

Multiple language fluency is desirable.

Travel and availability requirements:

May berequiredto travel for training sessions off-site on an ad-hoc basis.

Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on projectrequirement. Ability to respond to emergencies and calloutsin a timely manner.

• Position may require valid Driver’s License.
