This is a casual/per diem position working 10-hr day shifts generally from 7:30am-4pm. Located at Scripps Clinic Jefferson in Oceanside and float to Encinitas as needed.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
  • Provide direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice. Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
  • Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
  • Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of accredited RN program.
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience
  • Current CA RN license.
  • Current American Heart Associate BLS certificate.
  • ONS Chemo & Bio

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year RN experience in an Oncology/Infusion RN setting.
  • Outpatient RN experience.
  • OCN

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
