A beautiful, mansion-style Assisted Living & Memory Care community located in Somerset County, NJ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as their Resident Care Director to oversee all health and wellness operations.

If you are an Registered Nurse Leader with a strong clinical background and at least 2 years of nurse leadership experience working in Assisted Living/ Memory Care, Home Health, Hospice, Skilled Nursing or Corrections this might be a great fit for you! Requirements:

• 2 years as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• 1 year of Nurse Leadership experience

The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse who has an engaging personality and a strong leadership presence.

Resident Care Director (RN) - Assisted Living & Memory Care

Description:

Leadership & Clinical Oversight (60%)

• Lead clinical operations, assessments, care planning, and regulatory compliance
• Supervise and mentor the Wellness Nurse + 8 – 10 clinical team members (RNs & Med Techs)
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance coaching
• Conduct ongoing quality assurance and clinical improvement initiatives
• Manage departmental budget, labor costs, and monthly reporting

Resident Engagement & Direct Care (40%)

• Seeking a Nurse Leader who enjoys being highly visible, engaged with residents and families and is approachable.
• Conduct assessments, ISP creation, and monitor changes in condition
• Round with physicians weekly
• Coordinate with hospice, therapy, pharmacy, and other vendors
• Collaborate daily with caregivers and neighborhood coordinators

Resident Care Director (RN) - Assisted Living & Memory Care

Requirements:

• RN – New Jersey license (required)
• 2+ years RN experience in Assisted Living, LTC, or Memory Care
• 1+ year of Nurse Leadership experience (Supervisor, Manager, ADON, Wellness Nurse, etc.)
• Understanding and familiarity in Assisted Living regulations and resident care compliance
• CPR & First Aid certification
• EMR proficiency

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $130K base salary (based on experience)
• Additional Comp: +12%–15% Annual Bonus
