Project Duration : 13 weeks

Pay range : $47-$51 an hour

Shift : Nights

Job description:

Client is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department settings in a Critical Access Hospital environment. This role requires a versatile nurse who can manage a diverse patient population, including adult, pediatric, and orthopedic cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in Med-Surg and Emergency Room units
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to acute changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Assist in emergency situations, including trauma and critical care cases
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
• Float between departments as needed (Med-Surg, ED, Pediatrics, Ortho)

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of Colorado or compact license)
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, preferably in Med-Surg and/or Emergency Department
• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, rural healthcare setting

Required Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
