Responsibilities
As Manager Skilled Nursing/Sub-Acute,you’lldevelop a top performing team and inspire them toward achieving defined results. You're responsible for managing the regulatory functions for their assigned facility and acts as the "Director of Nursing" to support Title 22 regulations where required. The position is expected to direct, supervise and evaluate patient care performed by nursing personnel within their assigned service setting in accordance with established goals. Responsible for unit operation, scheduling, position control, staffing and coordination of the quality improvement process. Applies advanced, broad-based knowledge of nursing practice and theory, as well as, advanced knowledge of the techniques of supervision, management and leadership as applied to specific nursing responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Experience• 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required• Demonstrated expertise in the service area and leadership ability required• Previous leadership experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required
Licenses and Certifications• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
