This is a 12-hour varied shift position floating to our Scripps Health Campuses: Scripps Mercy Chula Vista and San Diego; Scripps La Jolla; Scripps Green; and Scripps Encinitas.

About the role:

Join Scripps Health as Registered Nurse, Dialysis where you will provide specialized nursing care to hospitalized patients with acute or chronic kidney disease requiring therapy.

Deliver safe, evidence-based dialysis treatments, collaborate closely with Nephrologists and the interdisciplinary care teams, provide supervision of the certified hemodialysis technician, supports patient & family education related to disease management, precepting, and other duties as assigned.

This role practices to standards of hospital policy, regulatory standards, and professional nursing scope. Expectations include travel to all hospital campuses and on-call duties, as assigned.

Education/Licensure/Certification Required:

· Graduation from an accredited nursing program

· Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of California

· American Heart Association BLS

Clinical Requirement:

· Must have either 1 year minimum providing hemodialysis treatments or at least 1-year clinical experience with an additional 6 mo. providing hemodialysis treatments

Preferred skills:

· Provision of apheresis, peritoneal dialysis, and/or continuous renal replacement therapy.

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
