Scripps Mercy Hospital consists of two campuses in San Diego and Chula Vista.
Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista provides a variety of medical and surgical services, including inpatient and outpatient care. Within the hospital you’ll find our 24-hour emergency room and many other specialty services ranging from cancer care to stroke care.
This is a Part time, benefited RN role with 40 hours per 2 week pay period located in Chula Vista. The hours are varied and include rotating call on weekends and holidays. Ideally training would be full time but there is room for discussion if less hours are needed.

As a RN within Endoscopy you will provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum one (1) year RN experience
· Active California RN license
· BLS, Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
· Be able to speak, read and following instructions in English.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Qualifications:
· BA in Nursing
· Previous ICU or GI experience is preferred
· Pre-OP/Post Op experience is ideal too
