As a Maintenance Technician II, you will leverage your expertise to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling and pneumatic systems within the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
• Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets.
• Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Possess basic electrical knowledge of components.
• Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems.
• Track and store department inventory, including spare parts.

• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
• 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.
• 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

• Experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards.
• Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 2+ years of experience working with PLC-based control systems.
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

Work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation, mostly featuring robotic components. Be prepared to walk 10,000 steps per day and lift up to 49 lbs at a time. Performance will be tracked through data and numbers, ensuring you meet expectations without micromanagement. All candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, with positions available for all shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Davenport, IA.

The pay range for this position is $27.60 - $27.60/hr.
