Work Location: Remote:Texas Health Corporate, 612 E. Lamar Blvd., Arlington, TX 76011

Work Hours:Full Time Days (8:00am-4:30pm) for 40 hrs/week (remote work allowed at manager's discretion)

What You Will Do:

Training
. Arrive one hour prior to the scheduled training session to set up the training room, prepare environment and other logistics.
. Check attendance prior to the start of the training session and forward information to Training Administrator for the ?ǣNo Show?ǥ Report.
. Deliver an effective, engaging training session to diverse audiences.
. Follow a standardized, application-specific, instructor-led, scripted training curriculum.
. Perform a competency assessment and complete the required documentation related to each training session.
. Incorporate and demonstrate the principles of Adult Learning during training sessions.
. Continually assess the varying training needs before, during and after each training session and conduct the necessary adjustments to training delivery based on audience assessment and training team feedback.
. Extensive and advanced knowledge of Epic applications required. 20%
Go-Live Support
. Provide support to end users according, but not limited, to their assigned area/schedule.
. May be assigned to conduct unit/department rounding during the initial weeks of go-live to provide support to end users according, but not limited, to their assigned area/schedule.
. Provide maintenance and support to end-users.
. Engage with the ITS analyst on any issues that arise during the go-live
. Consistently engage in the new application and systems developments to ensure our products meet the organization needs. Use tools such as Epic UserWeb to continue Epic learning throughout the application?��s life cycle. Remain engaged in any developments in other systems such as Trace, Passport, MedAssets and all other systems and programs used by Revenue Cycle operations. Stay engaged in policy changes concerning patient registration, insurance requirements, billing processes and bed management.

Issues Management
. Identify, communicate and escalate any training/support issues to ensure timely resolution.
. Work alongside the ITS analyst to test issue resolution before presenting to end-users

Communication
. Present strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to build collaborative relationships.
. Participate in regular communication with clinical, business and the project teams to ensure training is designed to the organization's needs. 20%
Post Go-Live Support and Optimization
. Provide ongoing unit and department training and support as assigned, including a complete New Employee Orientation for Revenue Cycle related departments.
. Continue to identify issues and concerns and promptly communicate back to team for discussion and timely resolution.
. Identify trends that may require system modification and follow-up during training.
. Promote effective use of the applications, and quickly identify and prevent bad habits and workarounds.
. Serve as a liaison to promote change in workflow and behaviors related to the implementation.
. Be engaged in new hire application training during transition period as needed.
. Other duties as assigned.
. Diagnosis of failures encountered in application software and related technologies; Participate in the resolution of problems and issues associated with installed applications other related information technologies
. Work with operations to ensure the technologies meets the needs of the organization and meets Policy and Procedure standards
. Maintains an awareness of vendor and industry developments/plans in area(s) of responsibility, communication and documentation relevant to our operational partners.

Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent 2 Years Relevant experience Req Or
Associate's Degree Req

Experience
2 Years Applicable work experience in Patient Access, Preregistration/Verification, Scheduling or Patient Accounting (Central Business Office). Req
6 Months Epic experience will be considered in lieu of 3 years of applicable work experience, preferably in Patient Access, Pre-registration/Verification (Epic Grand Central), Scheduling (Epic Cadence) or Patient Accounting (Central Business Office)(Epic Resolute Professional or Hospital Billing). Req

Prelude, Resolute, Cadence or OpTime certifications Upon Hire PrefSkills Prior training experience and expertise is strongly desired; a passion for the education of adults, clinical experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge of THR clinical and operational workflows, as well as policy and procedures is beneficial.
Ability to consistently present scripted training materials to large groups, and to conduct engaging and effective training sessions to diverse audiences including management staff, nurses, medical assistants, ancillary support staff, physicians, mid-level providers (NP & PA) and others.

A prior knowledge and expertise in information technology is not required. The person needs to be comfortable in the use of technology, but it is not necessary to be an ?ǣexpert?ǥ.
